It possesses both ether bonds and ester groups and has strong dissolving power for both polar and non-polar substances. It is widely used in paints, inks, coatings, the electronics industry (such as LCD/semiconductor photoresists and cleaning agents), and textile oils. It is a high-performance chemical that can replace ethylene glycol ether solvents.
